BD200m unpaid utility bills!
So, let me get this right … MOH cares about the people and EWA not?
@aniger_u
We’ll need to look at who is not paying. Cut the power connection after one month notice.
@syedmoiznaqvi
I guess if EWA bills were affordable, people would pay on time.
@malcolmdsouza5
No offence, but I guarantee most of these “errant subscribers” are Bahrainis, because expats here don’t have the luxury of defaulting on their EWA bills for more than a month without facing power cuts.
@s_alenezi97
This will be businesses rather than individuals.
@tbahraint
This is the electric bill of the highway lights in the south with no cars in sight.
@drtomatoes
People lost their jobs and business and you still want them to pay? Pathetic. Get a life.
Al Bondy
Lies. They cut the electricity on the 1st of the following month if the previous month is unpaid.
Hani Karaja
Everything is increasing except salary.
Mhel Tolentino Guilas
Bahrain electricity and water rates very high; please reduce.
Shah Jahan
Dear electricity and water authority,
You know the reason behind unpaid bills. Instead of making news, do the needful. Reduce your tariff charges so people can pay on time.
