Oman recorded more than 500 cases of drowning in 2021, recent statistics have revealed.
A Civil Defence and Ambulance Authority (CDAA) report explained its water rescue teams had dealt with 521 calls of drowning accidents last year, cautioning citizens and residents about swimming in undesignated sites.
