AROUND 20,000 Subaiti fish were released into Bahrain’s waters yesterday in a bid to further boost food security in the kingdom.The fish, which were cultivated at the National Aquaculture Centre in Ras Hayyan, were released into the sea by Gulf Petrochemical Industries Company (GPIC) chairman Yasser Abdul Rahim Al Abbasi along with the director of the fish farming project at the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry’s marine and agriculture resources agency Hussein Jaafar Makki .
