HEALTH regulators have completed the digitalisation of the licensing procedures of healthcare institutions and professionals in the country.
The National Health Regulatory Authority (NHRA) yesterday said medical professionals can now complete their licensing procedures online through its dedicated website munshaat.nhra.bh.
Launched by the NHRA last year, Munshaat is a digital service which allows rapid application and regulation of healthcare facilities.
The GDN had then reported it was part among the five new systems launched by the health watchdog in December alongside other online platforms, including a first-of-its-kind telephone application for health inspectors to digitally record health breaches.
“We have completed the electronic transformation of all the licensing procedures for both health professionals and institutions, in line with the government’s digitalisation vision, facilitating procedures and enhancing the effectiveness of services provided by government agencies,” said NHRA chief executive Dr Mariam Al Jalahama.
“Medical professionals can now download their licence through his personal account linked with the authority without having to visit the NHRA headquarters, using barcode property, which contains all the approved data issued by the NHRA’s Health Professions Regulation Department.”
All transactions can be done through munshaat.nhra.bh
