I FEEL sorry for Ms Philomena Crasta and share her pain.
I can also relate to her ordeal as I was in a similar situation some time ago at the same place.
My children had a narrow escape in an attack by a pack of huge strays at Awal Square garden along Isa Al Kabeer Avenue, which is home to these dogs.
The thought of what would have happened still sends a shiver down my spine. It was that close and no one came to our rescue.
The strays menace has spread across this region. Dogs are roaming freely, causing nuisance and fear as well as attacking people – unprovoked on most occasions.
I hope the authorities concerned will pay more attention to this problem and take necessary steps.
My thoughts and prayers are with Ms Crasta and wish her speedy recovery.
