MANAMA: Northern Governor Ali Al Asfoor yesterday chaired a meeting of the security committee of the governorate to discuss the security needs for the upcoming Ashoora season.
The meeting reviewed preparations for the Ashoora season, focusing on public health and safety. It was attended by Deputy Governor Brigadier General Khalid Rabea Sinan Al Doseri, Primary Health Care acting chief executive Dr Lulwa Shwaiter, strategic planning adviser at Supreme Council for Health Zahra Badr and head of autonomous programme for primary health centres Dr Rima Al Saffar.
The committee members affirmed their full co-operation with the governorate and the Muharram Committee that it formed.
