‘Thor: Love and Thunder’ banned in Bahrain
And yet extreme violence is acceptable in movies.
@maddie.whyte_
“Marvel”ous.
@thegirlwiththegeishatattoo
Good societal values, OK hun.
@emmalouwalsh1989
Protecting societal values doesn’t include extreme, severe violence I guess?
@alishabh2013
Good. Save the Bahraini people from mediocrity and shallow humour!
@thegreatzubari
After showing it for a day!
@ohmona.funko
Good thing I saw it last night before they banned it.
@axel_rai_
Very good step.
@cool.breeze007
Then why did you guys even release it in the GCC?
@noel.paul007
Here we go again.
@manishanm_
This is stupid. How about just shutting down the cinemas?
@fais_0690
Now people will get more curious to watch it.
@aref_janahii
All these things going on in Bahrain and you choose to ban a movie?
@iamabdullawan1
That’s stupid! I mean why ban it after showing it for one day? Make it age related then.
@awesomekhalid
The cut released in Bahrain has no nudity, lewdness or debauchery. Just watched it last night. Nothing that spoils society. In fact you can sit down and laugh for two hours.
@rayed_0807
So in short, every Marvel movie is going to get banned in Bahrain.
@g_ocool_bh
What is this ridiculousness? You know we can watch it online.
@inassirisworld
Up next … Bahrain bans Juffair for promoting perversion, nudity, debauchery and lewdness.
@richard.j.moule
Marvel’s hiring ONLY LGBT writers … they just want to be activists.
@ilyas_ibrahim_
I respect the decision of the country I am living in. Respect to Kingdom of Bahrain and its people. I respect each and every decision taken by the government.
