FORTY-EIGHT people have been arrested for allegedly committing immoral acts in two separate incidents, the Interior Ministry announcement yesterday.
Those arrested included nine men, identified only as Asians, and 39 women of different nationalities, according to the General Directorate for Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science’s human trafficking and public morality directorate.
Further details revealed that large stocks of alcoholic beverages were found in one of the cases, while one building was shut down following an order from the Public Prosecution.
The cases have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
