MANAMA: Health Minister Dr Jalila Al Sayed issued a decision to form a committee, headed by Dr Nawaf Al Hamer, to receive and evaluate nominations for the Arab Doctor Award 2023, reports our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
The award aims to shed light on doctors’ leading role within the joint Arab action system to address the challenges related to health and development in Arab countries, and to encourage doctors to improve their performance, provide best medical services and take part in volunteer and charitable initiatives at the Arab level.
Dr Al Hamer stressed the importance of the participation of Bahraini doctors and medical cadres in this annual award, which reflects the extent of interest in supporting national competencies and giving them the opportunity to apply for such high-level awards.
Applications may be submitted from Sunday to September 15 until 3pm.
