Gulf Air has announced the extension of its temporary flight operations via King Fahad International Airport in Dammam, with commercial bookings now available for travel through next Sunday.
The move comes as Bahrain’s national carrier seeks to maintain vital international connectivity amid the continued temporary closure of the kingdom’s airspace.
Passengers can currently book services operating via Dammam to several key international destinations, including London Heathrow, Mumbai and Bangkok.
Bookings can be made directly through the airline’s website or mobile application.
To facilitate travel during this period, Gulf Air is assisting passengers with the issuance of Saudi transit visas.
Alternatively, passengers may use independently arranged eligible entry visas for Saudi Arabia.
The airline is also providing dedicated transportation between Bahrain and Dammam for all passengers holding confirmed bookings on these specific services.
Flights to and from Bahrain International Airport remain suspended.
The airline stated that regular scheduled services will resume once Bahrain Civil Aviation Affairs confirms the safe reopening of the kingdom’s airspace.
Passengers are strongly advised to ensure they hold a confirmed booking before proceeding to Dammam for departure and are encouraged to check the airline’s digital platforms for the latest operational updates.
