THE parliamentary preparation programme for potential candidates in 2022 elections concluded yesterday.
The event, which was launched by the Parliament secretariat general, was attended by more than 150 participants from various electoral constituencies in the kingdom.
Assistant under-secretary for committee, sessions and parliamentary support affairs Yahya Ali Al Malla affirmed that the parliamentary preparation programme aimed at educating potential candidates for the elections on the work mechanisms of the legislative branch in Bahrain.
He noted that the programme aims to enrich the candidates’ political knowledge and invest their dedicated and responsible national enthusiasm in supporting the comprehensive development march led by His Majesty King Hamad.
He also praised constructive co-operation and integration between the legislative branch and the government, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
