IN response to the question “What should be done to monitor teachers’ behaviour towards young children?” there are a few quick key points to be addressed:
1) Regular soft skills training to the teachers.
2) Encouraging friendly and team-building activities in the classroom to strengthen the bond between teachers and students.
3) On-the-spot inspection teams to visit and regulate the procedures.
4) Parent-teacher organisations to be set up for better communication and interaction between both.
5) Outsourced audit team to visit and judge the classroom environments.
6) CCTV footage of the classrooms to be set up.
The matter should be dealt with the utmost care and respect and seek proper proof before being judgemental.
