THE organising committee of the Asian Weightlifting Championship 2022 continues its intensive preparations for the launch of the tournament, being hosted by Bahrain under the patronage of Supreme Council for Youth and Sports first deputy chairman, of the General Authority for Sports chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee president Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and organised by the Bahrain Weightlifting Federation under the supervision of the Asian Weightlifting Federation from October 6-16 at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
