Voters will head to the ballots today to elect a new parliament in Kuwait.
The elections were called after Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah intervened and dissolved the National Assembly in August.
The assembly was dissolved barely 20 months after it was elected after disputes between the former government and opposition MPs reached a deadlock.
