Kuwait: A Kuwaiti national was yesterday arrested for shooting two expatriate workers in the district of Al-Salmiya.
An Egyptian who was severely injured was transferred to Mubarak Hospital in critical condition, while a Syrian escaped with a wounded foot, a security source told Arabic newspaper Al-Anba.
The accused who was referred to competent authorities denied any criminal motive behind the incident, claiming that he wounded the two Arab nationals “by mistake”.
An initial report revealed that two bullets fired from a pellet gun wounded the Arab nationals.
