Al Khaldiya have won the Nasser Bin Hamad Premier League for the first time in the club’s history following a 1-1 draw against Bahrain Club on the final match day of the season.
Al Khaldiya took the lead through a freekick by Ismail Abdullatif, before Yourman Valencia equalised for Bahrain Club late in the first half. The result also means that Bahrain Club will be relegated to the Second Division next season.
