Bahrainis, Arabs, and all those who have a special affection for Bahrain, its leadership, and its people. It is a time for collective rejoicing and happiness. At this special time, we extend our heartfelt congratulations and blessings to His Majesty King Hamad, and to His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
We consistently emphasise that the genuine Bahraini Spring commenced from the time His Majesty the King assumed leadership and initiated the comprehensive development process. Bahrain has set itself on a democratic and developmental trajectory encompassing economic, social, and cultural dimensions. The world has taken notice of its distinctive journey, wherein Bahrain has successfully embraced progress and modernity while preserving its historical and civilisational foundations.
With unwavering determination, wisdom, and courage, His Majesty has successfully propelled Bahrain from a civilised stage to an even more expansive, advanced, and promising future. Hands and minds have united in a collective effort to navigate the ship of the homeland towards a broader, brighter, and more beautiful destination. The helm is securely held by the captain, His Majesty the King, who has consistently demonstrated visionary leadership and a deep devotion to his country, its land, and its people.
The security and stability experienced in Bahrain are considered blessings from God Almighty, yet they are also the fruits of concerted effort and hard work. This stability is firmly rooted in Bahrain, supported by pillars that include a constitution safeguarded by royal support that prioritises the welfare of the country and its citizens above all else. In Bahrain, everyone lives with dignity, assured about their lives, families, loved ones, as well as their financial well-being and property.
During our national holidays, we send a global message advocating for an end to wars and the promotion of peace. It is a time for contemplation on the various ethnicities, followers of diverse religions, and sects coexisting within Bahrain, where they enjoy full political, economic, and intellectual rights.
The collective consciousness of the Bahraini people, along with their unity around their leadership and government, has the power to overcome any present or future challenges. Bahrain has consistently demonstrated its resilience in the face of crises, a testament to the wisdom of its leadership and the solidarity and awareness of its people.
Bahrain has a rich history as a prominent commercial and economic hub. The reform project was introduced to establish practical frameworks aimed at advancing Bahrain’s position and solidifying its leadership in the region. This initiative has led to diverse sources of income and economic activities that have surpassed those of neighbouring countries. Consequently, the kingdom evolved into a global and regional exemplar of freedom and economic justice.
Personally, I have been committed to relocating a significant portion of my diverse investments to my headquarters in Bahrain. I have consistently emphasised the importance of contributing all we can to a homeland that provides us with a sense of security, belonging, and a promising future.
Bahrain has earned respect on both the Arab and international stages. It is regarded as a responsible and civilised state. Our National Day serves as an opportunity to reflect on the substantial and noteworthy achievements made by Bahrain across various domains.
