His Majesty King Hamad yesterday sent a cable of congratulations to President Ilham Aliyev of Azerbaijan on his re-election.
The King wished President Aliyev continued success in carrying out his presidential duties to achieve the aspirations of the Azeri people for further progress and prosperity.
His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also sent a cable of congratulations to President Aliyev.
He commended the depth of Bahrain-Azerbaijan relations, affirming the kingdom’s commitment to continue developing co-operation and co-ordination to achieve common interests.
