Qatar was not notified by Iran of incoming missile attacks, a spokesperson for the foreign ministry said.
In its statement, Qatar said it has no ongoing communication with Iran, Iran's targets within Qatar were not just military and that Qatar has enough interception missiles to deal with ongoing danger.
Qatar also clarified that Iran’s attempts to attack Qatar's Hamad international airport had failed.
The spokesperson said that more than 8,000 people that were stranded in transit are being hosted in hotels and there are many visitors stranded on cruise ships.
