INTERIOR Minister General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa yesterday met Arab Interior Ministers Council secretary general Dr Mohammed Ali Koman.
Present was Under-Secretary Shaikh Nasser bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa.
The Interior Minister commended the role of the general secretariat of the council in advancing joint Arab security co-operation and overseeing the implementation of decisions made by the Arab interior ministers.
The meeting discussed ways to support and enhance mechanisms for Arab security co-ordination across various domains. They also addressed topics related to the council’s meetings, highlighting their importance in strengthening security collaboration among member states.
Dr Koman expressed his appreciation for the minister’s support for advancing Arab security ties.
