Talented Bahraini football player Sayed Ahmed Al Wadaei has successfully completed his participation in the 2023-24 Player Development Programme at the academy of Spanish football giants Villarreal.
Sayed took part in the course with the support of Tumooh Sport Management.
A ceremony was held to mark the end of the programme, during which the participants were presented with certificates of appreciation in the presence of their parents. Sayed was also given a commemorative jersey from the club.
Speaking at the event, Sayed expressed his thanks and appreciation to all the coaches and academy members. He said that the opportunity to be a part of the programme was a milestone in his development as a footballer, and it was a dream come true.
He added that the experience taught him how to be a professional, adding that many elite players have been developed at Villarreal’s academy, and that he hopes to one day follow in their footsteps and be a star in international football.
Sayed’s parents expressed their thanks to Tumooh Sport Management for their remarkable support and fruitful follow-up. They stressed that their son will continue to work hard in the service of Bahrain and its sports projects as he aspires to become a prominent star in his football career.
