The Graff Venus is the largest D Flawless heart shape diamond in the world
It is D Colour, Flawless and Type IIA with Excellent Polish, Excellent Symmetry and No Fluorescence - the very highest accolade a diamond can achieve and weighs 118.78 carats.
The Graff Venus was cut from a 357 carat rough diamond discovered in 2015 at the Letšeng Mine in Lesotho.
From discovery to completion, the process of analysis, cutting and polishing took 18 months.
As this has never been attempted before, special tools were developed in order to cut the Graff Venus and the process required the world’s most skilled and experienced diamond craftsmen.
Over half of the world’s top 20 largest diamonds discovered this century have been cut and polished by Graff.
