Adventurer Rasha Yousif is believed to be the first Bahraini to visit all 195 countries in the world, since embarking on her solo globe-trotting travels in 2012.
She told the GDN from her final destination in Yemen that she is ‘overwhelmed with emotions as she reflects on all the challenges she has faced to get to this point’.
The 42-year-old quit her day job in banking in a bid to set out on a global voyage to inspire other hijab-wearing women to overcome their fears and discover the world’s hidden gems.
