A top Bahraini chef has been named as one of the new UN Tourism Ambassadors for Gastronomy Tourism.
Tala Bashmi, along with Spanish chef Diego Guerrero and Croatian chef Rudolf Stefan, received the prestigious title from UN Tourism secretary general Zurab Pololikashvili for their active engagement in projects that promote sustainable gastronomy and community empowerment .
