The Prime Minister’s Office has announced the conclusion of the application process for the sixth edition of the Government Innovation Competition (Fikra).
Fikra has been established under the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to empower Bahrain’s national workforce to enhance government workstreams and achieve the kingdom’s desired goals and aspirations.
The application period ran from October 27 to November 27, and the evaluation committee has started reviewing all the submitted applications.
Winners of previous editions of Fikra have contributed to enhancing government workstreams and services that benefit both citizens and residents.
Fikra has also fostered a culture of creativity and innovation within the public sector, aligning with desired aspirations and Bahrain’s Economic Vision 2030.
