Rabat: Morocco and Ethiopia signed a military cooperation agreement as part of efforts to enhance and diversify bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
According to the Maghreb Arabe Press (MAP), this followed a meeting between Abdeltif Loudyi, Minister Delegate to the Head of Government in charge of the National Defense Administration, and Aysha Mohammed Mussa, Ethiopian Minister of Defence.
The agreement includes cooperation in training, exercises, scientific research, military health, and the exchange of experience and expertise in areas of common interest.
It also provides for the establishment of a joint military committee to define areas of cooperation, which will meet alternately in Rabat and Addis Ababa.
