His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, yesterday extended his congratulations to the Bahrain Council for Health Studies and Specialties, chaired by Supreme Council for Health president Lieutenant General Dr Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, on receiving institutional accreditation from the Arab Board of Health Specialisations.
He commended the dedicated efforts of the kingdom’s healthcare professionals, whose collective contributions continue to elevate Bahrain’s status as a regional leader in healthcare services, education, and training, in line with the far-reaching vision of His Majesty King Hamad.
HRH Prince Salman extended his best wishes for the council’s continued success and advancement.
Lt Gen Dr Shaikh Mohammed said the council’s institutional accreditation is a significant national achievement.
It marks an important progress in Bahrain’s development of medical education and the quality of specialist training programmes, he said.
The achievement reflects the extensive efforts made to develop a comprehensive training system based on the highest standards of competence and excellence, Lt Gen Dr Shaikh Mohammed added.
He noted that the accreditation is in line with the aim of preparing qualified national medical professionals who possess the knowledge and skills necessary to serve the community effectively.
He also highlighted that this accomplishment aligns with the vision and aspirations of His Majesty and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
