Ford Motor Company has unveiled the new Territory, retaining its renowned 1.8L EcoBoost engine that delivers both power and efficiency, with a hybrid variant arriving shortly in the region.
Blending a bold design and improved features, the latest edition of the SUV boasts a refreshed exterior, innovative infotainment system, enhanced driver-assist technologies and more, delivering convenience, comfort and capability.
Whether it’s navigating city streets or embarking on a weekend getaway, the new Territory ensures the small SUV will remain a favourite from Argentina to Brazil, Mexico to Manila, and Cape Town to Dubai.
“Territory has always been about empowering young, dynamic families to get the most out of every day,” said Ford International Markets Group vehicle programme director Iain Jones.
“When it comes to the vehicle, comfort and smart technology come to the fore. It’s everything our customers have asked for, and more.”

Building on this strong foundation, the 2026 Ford Territory delivers user-friendly technology and efficient powertrain options – making daily adventures easier and more enjoyable than ever.
The 2026 Territory stands out with a dynamic new front end, highlighted by a redesigned bumper and grille, and all-LED head and tail lamps.
Two fresh colour options – Cactus Grey and Oasis Green – are available, adding a sophisticated, premium touch to the lineup.
“We wanted to give the vehicle a more expressive front end,” Mr Jones said, adding that the new LED lighting gives the car real personality and presence on the road.”
And, inside, comfort takes centre stage.
Inside the SUV
The updated seats feature wider, more supportive headrests with extra padding for long-distance journeys.
Fast-charging USB and Type C outlets have been added to both the front and rear, which deliver more power than standard USB charging outlets to ensure your smartphone and your laptop can be powered up quicker whether you’re commuting or embarking on a family adventure.
It also offers a generous 448-litre trunk that expands to 1,422 litres with the rear seats folded down, class-leading shoulder room for front seat passengers and ample knee room in the back.
“Customer comfort is incredibly important to Ford, and that’s why we’ve examined everything from seating to air quality and refinement,” Mr Jones said, adding that every detail has been advanced to help customers feel more relaxed and confident Territory maintains its 1.8-litre EcoBoost four-cylinder engine making 140kW and 320Nm of torque.
“Ford is proud of its EcoBoost technology, and the 1.8-litre EcoBoost in Territory helps us deliver on our promise of economical motoring without sacrificing performance,” said Jones.
The 2026 Territory takes in-car connectivity to the next level, offering a suite of advanced features designed to make every moment behind the wheel more enjoyable.
Audiophiles will appreciate the inclusion of Arkamys 3D Audio, creating an immersive audio experience for everyone in the cabin.
Stunning interior
This feature can be toggled on or off and helps minimise road noise when active, ensuring crystal-clear sound quality no matter where you’re seated.
The infotainment system has also been upgraded with a redesigned dual 12.3-inch touchscreen display, making it more intuitive and user-friendly than ever before. Drivers can now seamlessly switch between full-screen Apple CarPlay or Android Auto phone projection and a split-screen layout, which includes easy access to climate controls displayed in a sleek bar across the bottom of the screen.
“The team worked hard to ensure the infotainment screen was more intuitive for customers,” Mr Jones said, adding that the team is incredibly proud of the improved aesthetic and functionality, especially the streamlined layout of the climate control system.

Safety remains a top priority for Ford, and the 2026 Territory is equipped with a comprehensive suite of advanced driver-assist systems, including lane departure warning, which activates above 60kmph to alert drivers if they unintentionally drift out of their lane, lane keeping assist, gently guiding the vehicle back into its lane when needed and Lane Centering Control.
