Giancarlo Esposito, the acclaimed American actor best known for portraying Gus Fring in Breaking Bad, has reportedly embraced Islam while filming in Saudi Arabia.
According to General Entertainment Authority (GEA) Chairman Turki Al Shaikh, Esposito recited the Shahada, the Islamic declaration of faith, and joined members of the production team in prayer at a mosque during his stay in the Kingdom.
Al Shaikh said the actor's decision was influenced by his positive experiences, warm interactions with local communities, and the hospitality he encountered while working on the film Seven Dogs.
A video circulating on social media reportedly shows Esposito praying alongside crew members, drawing widespread attention as Saudi Arabia continues to position itself as a growing hub for international film and entertainment productions.
