ENDURANCE HORSERACING – Bahrain's Royal Endurance Team continued their brilliance on the European scene after achieving outstanding results in the Compiegne International Endurance Race in France, held as part of their participation in the current European season and as preparations for the upcoming world championship.
Rider Fahad Hilal Al Khatri deservedly won first place in the 140-kilometre ride, delivering a strong and outstanding performance amidst fierce competition.
In the 160km race, rider Mohammed Abdulhameed Al Hashemi managed to secure third place, while Emirati rider Majid Jamal Al Muhairi took the win and his teammate Saif Ahmed Al Mazrouei finished as runner-up.
Al Khatri expressed his immense joy in achieving first place in the 140km event, emphasising that the victory was the fruit of continuous work and intensive preparations prior to the competition.
Bahrain’s Royal Endurance Team’s participation in Compiegne comes as part of their programme for the endurance horseracing season in Europe, as they aim to raise the technical and physical levels of their riders and horses ahead of major international events, most notably the worlds.
