CELEBRATING its vibrant diversity and dedication to excellence, the Pakistan Urdu School is entering an exciting new chapter, soon to be known as Iqra Private School.
With the Education Ministry’s initial approval in hand, the re-branding journey is officially underway, marking the start of a bold and inspiring future.
The school’s logo will also be redesigned in consultation with and approval from the board of directors and relevant authorities, reflecting the school’s vision, mission, and objectives.
The Pakistan Urdu School will not be detaching itself from its past, but will continue to operate within its established framework, exploring a new horizon of excellence in education.
Governed by a board of trustees, it prioritises academic excellence alongside co-curricular and extracurricular development.
A dedicated team of educators, led by principal Justen John, operates under the strategic guidance of the management team, board of directors and board of trustees. Emphasising both academic and moral development, the Pakistan Urdu School serves students from diverse nationalities, including 64 per cent Pakistani nationals, 23pc Bahrainis and 13pc students from countries such as Malaysia, Indonesia, Jordan, Egypt, Syria, America, Sri Lanka, among others.
Established in 1956, the school offers instruction in English across all grade levels.
This multicultural environment makes the school an ideal institution committed to delivering quality education and nurturing well-rounded individuals.
Looking ahead, to meet the evolving educational landscape and global standards, the school will introduce its first badge of IGCSE classes starting September 2025. This initiative will expand opportunities for students to compete globally and adapt to the challenges of today’s world.
