The Bahraini-Asian Motors officially launched the iCAUR marque in Bahrain, unveiling the all-new iCAUR V27 and iCAUR 03T during a recent launch ceremony held at Exhibition World Bahrain in Sakhir.
The event marked iCAUR’s market debut in the kingdom and introduces a new approach to intelligent, electric-first mobility designed for a younger, forward-looking generation of drivers.
In attendance were the Bahraini-Asian Motors group chief executive Mike Brightmore, iCAUR chief executive and Chery Automobile vice president Dr Su Jun, iCAUR vice president and chief technology officer Ma Yongdong, iCAUR Middle East regional manager Tim Zhang, Chinese Embassy officials and senior management, alongside regional and international representatives.
The iCAUR V27 and 03T were showcased as bold new expressions of intelligent and adventurous mobility, combining striking modern design with advanced technology.
Central to both models is iCAUR’s pioneering Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) technology, which delivers electric-first driving efficiency while addressing ‘range anxiety’ – the worry of driving an electric car and the battery running out of power before the destination or a suitable charging point is reached.
This is complemented by the brand’s intelligent wheel-drive system, engineered to enhance performance, control and versatility across varying driving conditions.
The V27’s headline specifications include a 1,000+ kilometre range, 450 horsepower and 0-100 km per hour in 5.9 seconds, and also a Smart App Control to lock/unlock, start climate control, locate vehicle and more.
The 03T is themed around retro 8-bit gaming, featuring nostalgic inspirations such as Super Mario, Pac-Man and arcade-style design cues.
