A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held yesterday to mark the official launch of Savoy Grande Hotel’s signature Japanese restaurant Miso.
The outlet is situated on the lobby level of the hotel in Seef District.
Japanese Ambassador Okai Asako, hospitality leaders, industry figures and media representatives attended the exclusive event.
The celebration included a lamp-lighting activation highlighting Miso’s vision to bring Japanese artistry and tradition to the heart of Bahrain.

Guests were invited to experience the restaurant’s elegant interiors, designed to reflect the understated beauty and calm of Japanese design, while live cooking stations offered a captivating display of culinary precision.
The evening culminated in a tasting journey of sushi, sashimi, teppanyaki and other delicacies prepared by culinary director Harbilash Panigrahi and master chef Prageeth Maduranga.
