TAEKWONDO – Bahrain's taekwondo national team athlete Muath Mohammed struck gold in the Swiss Open 2025, held at St Gallen, Switzerland.
Mohammed secured his title in the senior men’s under-58kg category of the high-level international ranking competition, held under the banners of World Taekwondo, the European Taekwondo Union, and Swiss Taekwondo.
Mohammed won ahead of silver-medallist Sebastien Alesio of France, while sharing the bronze medals were Anthony Dore, also of France, and Jose Alex de Dios of Spain.
Amongst those attending the competition was World Taekwondo president Chungwon Choue, who Mohammed met at the Swiss Open.
