Reza Mohamed, an Egyptian nurse living in Kuwait who happened to be on a routine shopping trip, stepped forward and began performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) until paramedics arrived at the scene.
Witnesses said she persisted with the procedure for a long time, until the man’s pulse returned and he regained consciousness.
A video of her quick and decisive action, captured by bystanders, went viral on social media. Mohamed was hailed as a 'heroine' and praised for her determination.
In recognition of her actions, Kuwait’s Health Minister Dr. Ahmed Al Awadhi honoured her with a certificate of appreciation, noting that her response reflected pure humanitarian instinct rather than professional obligation.
