CYCLING – BAHRAIN Victorious Development Team rider Seth Dunwoody came away with three race jerseys yesterday as the 2025 edition of the Turul Ciclist al Romaniei 2025 wrapped up in Romania.
Dunwoody won the event’s polka dot jersey after topping the points battle, the green jersey as number one in the best climber ranking, and the red jersey as the race’s best sprinter.
Both Dunwoody and teammate Thomas Capra came up narrowly short from claiming places on the podium for yesterday’s fifth and final stage, held over 95km across Bucharest.
Capra finished fourth while Dunwoody came sixth as both competitors were part of a bunch sprint to the finish. Radoslaw Fratczak of Voster ATS Team triumphed in the leg with a time of two hours one minute and 24 seconds.
Amongst Bahrain Victorious Development Team’s other riders yesterday, Marco Andreaus finished 26th, Leonardo Consolidani was 37th, and Yoshiki Terada came 62nd.
This year’s Turul Ciclist al Romaniei was held over five stages, covering a total of 834km.
