It’s always an incredible time and a warm welcome to be back in Bahrain, reconnecting with old friends and engaging with partners who are shaping the GCC’s future in innovation, energy and space.
Highlights of my recent visit included:
A warm reception hosted by US Ambassador Bondy – thank you and Embassy team for your gracious hospitality.
Important conversations at the UK Embassy underscoring the significance of the Comprehensive Security Integration and Prosperity Agreement (C-SIPA) partnership.
A visit to the Bahrain Space Agency’s new headquarters, a driving force for regional space innovation.
Inspiring time at the University of Strathclyde Bahrain campus, where a new generation of Bahraini engineering and innovators is being nurtured to make a lasting global impact.
These touchpoints come at a pivotal moment with the signing of the C-SIPA between the US, UK and Bahrain – a landmark framework to deepen integration across the Middle East, bolster mutual deterrence against external threats, and expand co-operation to advance security, stability and prosperity.
At Rhea Space Activity, we are proud to play our part in this growing US-UK-Bahrain partnership – not only advancing space co-operation but also enriching opportunities for young scientists whose vision and talent will shape the future of science, technology, and education.
I’m grateful for Bahrain’s leadership and hospitality and even more energised by the opportunities ahead to strengthen co-operation and inspire the next generation.
