His Majesty King Hamad sent a cable of condolences to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud on the passing of Shaikh Abdulaziz bin Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Shaikh, Grand Mufti of Saudi Arabia, Council of Senior Scholars chairman, General Presidency for Scholarly Research and Ifta president, and Supreme Council of the Muslim World League president.
The King commended the late scholar’s distinguished merits and contributions, noting that Saudi Arabia and the Islamic world have lost a prominent figure who devoted his life to the service of knowledge, Islam and Muslims .
