Fans of Stan Lee are buzzing as the Los Angeles Comic Con is set to feature an AI hologram version of the late Marvel Comics legend who can hold short conversations with people.
The hologram will be housed in a 1,500 sq. ft. enclosed booth in a section called the 'Stan Lee Experience,' according to The Hollywood Reporter.
It will cost between $15 and $20 to 'meet' the AI hologram created by Proto Hologram and Hyperreal.
Fans can have photos taken with the hologram and have a conversation of up to three minutes with the late legend.
‘We’ll never put words in his mouth that aren’t in line with things he spoke about in his lifetime,’ promises Bob Sabouni, former Marvel executive and Head of Stan Lee Legacy Programs for Kartoon Studios.
‘Fortunately, with decades of footage capturing his thoughts on so many subjects, we can build a voice that stays true, not always word for word, but always faithful in spirit, context, and intent.’
LA Comic Con is set to run between September 26 and 28.
