THE Aisha Yateem Family Counselling Centre hosted a special Charity Breakfast yesterday at the Dar Sara Restaurant at The Courtyard Seef to raise funds for its crucial work in the community.
As a non-governmental organisation dedicated to providing social, psychological and legal support to families, particularly women who are vulnerable or subjected to abuse, the centre relies on fundraising initiatives to continue its mission of promoting family stability and well-being in Bahrain.
Attendees also took part in a raffle draw for a selection of donated prizes.

Proceeds from the sale of tickets to the raffle draw will support the centre’s operations, including counselling services and awareness programmes that empower women and families to overcome challenging circumstances.
The centre was named after Aisha Yateem who started the Bahrain Young Ladies Association in 1955 to improve the lives of women in Bahrain.
The late philanthropist wished to establish a centre to help abused women which came to fruition in 2007 thanks to her family.
