Finance and National Economy Minister Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa addressed leaders at the 2026 Spring Meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank Group.
The minister highlighted Iran's flagrant attacks on the GCC countries and Jordan, noting that civilians and civilian infrastructure, including educational institutions and commercial facilities, were targeted.
He called upon the World Bank and the international community to provide support to the region.
