Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Ministry director of the Zakat and Charity Fund Salah Hussain took part in the third Zakat Conference and Exhibition organised by Oman’s Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs.
The event was held in Salalah under the theme “Zakat and Institutional Identity: Workforce Efficiency and Strengthening Community Trust”.
Mr Hussain reviewed Bahrain’s experience in developing the Zakat institution, addressing key areas including the institutional and legislative framework, digital transformation and diversification of donation channels, institutional development and capacity-building, projects and programmes implemented by the Fund, as well as future prospects.
