Police have arrested a woman for allegedly stealing gold jewellery from a shop in Barbar with an estimated value of BD7,000, the Interior Ministry reported on social media.
The 32-year-old was identified by detectives within 20 hours of the incident being reported.
The Northern Governorate Police Directorate said all necessary legal measures had been taken and the case had been referred to the Public Prosecution.
