Alba marked ‘National Tree Week’, launched by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, with a tree-planting activity led by chief executive officer Ali Al Baqali at Power Station 5 area.
The initiative underscored the smelter’s commitment to planting 6,000 trees annually – within and beyond its premises – in support of Bahrain’s national goal of achieving carbon neutrality by 2060 .
