A strategic plan has been launched to develop parliamentary work, including the implementation of quality training programmes for committee members, Parliament Secretary General Mohammed Al Sisi Al Buainain told our sister paper Akhbar Al Khaleej.
The process of updating the manuals and operational procedures of parliamentary committees – including investigative, temporary and standing committees – has been completed, he said.
“This also covers the development of parliamentary document templates, work models and the re-organisation of workflow processes in line with the best parliamentary and administrative practices,” he noted.
Mr Al Buainain highlighted its collaboration with international expert bodies.
