Pilgrims accepted for the 2026 Haj season will have to select tour operators from November 2 until 9, the Supreme Committee for Haj and Umrah Affairs has announced.
The committee yesterday confirmed that only those who have received prior text messages confirming provisional acceptance, based on priority and order, are eligible to select tour operators.
All accepted pilgrims are urged to contact accredited tour operators directly to review available offers, inquire about package details, services and prices, and confirm their choice by paying BD150 via the electronic platform within the specified period.
Failure to do so will result in cancellation, it cautioned.
The committee also highlighted the availability of tour package details and prices on the electronic Haj platform.
It renewed the call for tour operators to adhere strictly to advertising regulations, ensuring adverts are clear, comprehensive, transparent and credible.
