The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) Masam Project removed 1,190 explosives across various regions of Yemen during the third week of October.
The cleared explosives included 1,135 pieces of unexploded ordnance, 49 anti-tank mines, five anti-personnel mines, and two improvised explosive devices.
The efforts bring the total number of explosives cleared since the start of the Masam Project to 519,824.
The explosives were randomly planted throughout Yemeni territory, endangering innocent civilians, including children, women, and older people, and sowing fear in once-safe communities.
Saudi Arabia, through the KSrelief, continues its mission to rid Yemeni land of explosives as part of its broader effort to protect civilians and enable the Yemeni people to live safely and with dignity.
