Alba, the world’s largest aluminium smelter on one site, and India’s Epsilon Carbon have signed a non-binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to explore a long-term supply arrangement for liquid coal tar pitch.
The MoU, formalised during the Gateway Gulf Forum 2025, aims to enhance Alba’s supply security and operational efficiency .
