BAHRAIN will host the 19th periodic meeting of the Speakers of the GCC Legislative Councils on Thursday.
The high-level gathering, under the chairmanship of National Assembly and Parliament Speaker Ahmed Al Musallam will bring together the heads of the Shura, Parliament, National and Ummah Councils of GCC member states.
It aims to strengthen parliamentary co-operation and integration among Gulf countries, while unifying legislative positions and perspectives on regional and international issues of shared interest.
Bahrain’s delegation to the meeting will be led by Shura Council Chairman Ali Saleh Al Saleh.
