The popular Bahrain Farmers' Market will start on November and run until February 14 next year, it was announced.
The annual gathering of local farmers, brands and artisans at the Budaiya Botanical Garden is being organised by the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry in partnership with the National Initiative for Agriculture Development.
This year's edition will feature 32 local farmers, alongside a number of agricultural companies, productive families, nurseries and beekepeers.
Handicraft activities will also be included, along with educational and recreational programmes for children, restaurants and cafes.
"The annual event seeks to develop the agricultural sector and encourage private sector investment in the field," said Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael Al Mubarak.
